Hello, A lot of you are new subscribers. Thank you for joining RTC. I started this newsletter as an educational resource about race and racism in Singapore. With this new wave of subscribers, I’ve had a lot of emails and comments essentially asking what can be done about racism in Singapore. Before we get into it, I want to caution you against believing that there’s one right answer to any of these questions.

a fb friend proclaimed "singaporeans are lucky". him being the majority race, exquisitely blind to the reality of inequality and discrimination, intercessed with the theme of "luck".
my feeble attempt to say that "some" singaporeans are more lucky than others. a small attempt to hold
Truth up to the faces of those who can afford to say, "Wah heng ah, we very lucky here in sg!"
